DH Tracker (Dental Hygienist Tracker)

DH Tracker is a personal career management tool for dental hygienists. It helps users track shifts across multiple offices, log daily production, calculate expected pay, and manage continuing education (CE) credits required for license renewal.

Data Collected by DH Tracker

Information you provide:

  • Office names, addresses, and pay structure details (hourly rate, commission percentage, etc.)
  • Shift schedules (dates, times, break durations)
  • Procedure logs (CDT codes, fees charged, count of procedures performed)
  • CE credits (course names, providers, hours, categories)
  • License information (state, license number, renewal date)
  • Optional profile information (name, primary state, language preference)

Information collected automatically:

  • Anonymous Identifier: When you first open the App, an anonymous Firebase identifier is created automatically. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, or Apple ID.
  • Crash Reports: Device model, operating system version, and the App's state at the time of any crash.
  • Usage Analytics: Anonymous data on which screens are viewed and which features are used.

Information We Do NOT Collect in DH Tracker

  • Patient names, dates of birth, or any patient-identifying information
  • Any HIPAA-protected health information about patients
  • Email address or phone number
  • Location or GPS data
  • Photos from your device library
  • Health data from HealthKit
  • Advertising identifier (IDFA)

HIPAA Compliance

DH Tracker is a personal career tracking tool, not a clinical or billing system. The App does NOT collect, store, or process patient-identifying information. When you log a procedure, you only record the CDT procedure code performed (e.g., D1110, D4341), the fee charged, and the count of procedures during a shift. No patient identifiers are entered. As a result, the App is not subject to HIPAA regulations.
